WARNING - This post discusses things associated with my gut. You may be slightly uncomfortable ... Maybe? ......... I was in a weird funk last week, and it turns out, all I needed was fresh run to get reset!
I hate the question "how was your run?" There are way too many ways to answer it. It is so generic and personal at the same time.
Most of my moments of clarity come while on a run. Problems work themselves out, decisions are made, and stress is dissolved. Other than myself, my #BrightOrangeShoes are the only things that remain a constant in these moments. It is because of them I am able to #runabetterlife.
The prior tributes have been about one person. This tribute is special. I am addressing 2 people because when I think about one, the other is right there by their side. They both were able to turn "FYI - I have plans" moment into an "I can't thank you enough for being there" moment.
There are 5 major reasons why I continue to run, even when I think I hate it sometimes.
Life will always throw curve balls, but I have found that if I let life get in the way - I may never have crossed a finish line.
